Stop Email Spam at it's Source - your website
1) MAKE YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS INVISIBLE:
If you have your Email address posted on your web site, Internet spammers can crawl your site and copy your Email address into their system.
HOW: To prevent this go to http://www.safeemail.org to encrypt your Email address on your web site so visitors can view and click the link but spammers cannot see the link. You can also break up your Email address so it is not complete. For example [email protected] would become michael @ cnn.com. Using this method, visitors to your site can see your Email address but crawlers cannot.
2) FORWARDING EMAILS AND EMAIL ALIASES are easily spammed.
Forwarding Email address, Email Alias or Multi Message Recipient Email are easily spammed. There are spam prevention features built into each pop Email account. A Forwarding Email account does have these protections. Therefore, delete the forwarding Email account and re-create it as a pop Email account. Then forward that to the original forwarding Email address.
